On 30 January 2026, every advocate voting in the Telangana State Bar Council Elections 2026 must strictly follow polling-day instructions. Even a small deviation can result in rejection of the vote.
✅ DO’s on Polling Day
- Carry Bar Council Advocate ID or Bar Association Advocate ID
- Reach the polling station within voting time
- Use only the pen provided inside the polling booth
- Write preferences only in words (ONE, TWO, THREE…)
- Give minimum FIVE preferences in correct sequence
- Maintain secrecy of your ballot
❌ DON’Ts on Polling Day
- Do not bring or use personal pens
- Do not write digits (1, 2, 3) instead of words
- Do not give ONE to more than one candidate
- Do not skip any preference number
- Do not sign, mark, or write anything that reveals identity
- Do not carry campaign material inside the polling station

Each vote operates under the Single Transferable Vote (STV) system.
A valid vote must be clear, sequential, and uninterrupted.
Failure to follow polling instructions will result in the vote being fully rejected.
