The Telangana State Bar Council Elections 2026 will be held on Friday, 30 January 2026. Every eligible advocate must follow the official voting procedure strictly to ensure their vote is counted.
Step-by-Step Voting Process
- Collect the ballot paper and use only the pen provided at the polling booth.
- Write your FIRST preference as “ONE” (in words) against the candidate of your choice.
- You must write a minimum of FIVE preferences in correct sequence:
ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE - All preferences must be written only in words, not digits.
- Do not skip any number in the sequence. Skipping will invalidate the vote.
Important Voting Rules
- Minimum preferences required: 5
- Maximum preferences allowed: 23
- Writing digits (1, 2, 3) instead of words → Vote invalid
- Using personal pen → Vote invalid
- Giving ONE to more than one candidate → Vote invalid

Mandatory Entry Requirement
Every voter must carry either:
- Bar Council Advocate ID or
